West Salem Machinery is well known for their electric slow-speed, high torque grinders and shredders. They took more than 50 years of experience and built two diesel powered grinders, the West Salem Brute and West Salem Big Brute horizontal grinders. Today they mainly manufacture electric, low rpm and high rpm grinders, shredders, screeners, hammermills and conveyors. WSM can offer a complete, in-line system/solution for almost any grinding application.
Older but solid West Salem Machinery high-speed electric grinder and screening plant. Screener was set up ahead of the grinder. 72″ mill, 60″x28′ infeed, 60″ cross belt magnet and 60″ head pulley. Twin 400 hp motors. Very heavily built.
High speed grinder- hammer mill. Top feed hopper set up for vertical feed and lower air discharge. Air system is NOT available. Never really used much. Hopper is available just no pics. Control panel is there (soft start might be there too). Model year is approximate.
